It's a month into the season on a deal where both teams have the players for 4+ years so you're being a bit shortsighted. I should probably re-read what I posted but one thing about the deal is that Weber is already starting to regress while Subban should still be a good player so the contracts are going to get rough. Weber will always put in points because that shot is ridiculous but he's not a better player than Subban currently.
If you want to talk about the Canadiens being in first, Price is likely the biggest person to thank for that. This was always going to be the year where Montreal looked like they "won" the trade because Price is back full time and Weber hasn't completely become a vending machine on skates.
The Canadiens will end up being like the Avalanche of a few years ago where ridiculous goaltending makes people overlook how they get out shot a lot.
I forgot what podcast I was listening to, but they talked about the travel in the western conference is much more of a killer than the travel in the eastern conference, so that will help Weber a bit.
@Irishman Philly at Nashville tonight.
whooooooooooooooooooooYep. Flyers are bringing a 5W streak into the game. It'll be tough to keep that going.
Not sure why Rinne didn't play. Was it just a night off or is he hurt?
Welp.Caps gonna Caps.
Welp.
Price should be giving Petry the blocker since its his fault.
Do it so the Reno Aces can file a claim against them and they have to play games as the VEGAS PLACEHOLDERS.Still time to change it to the Aces.
Placeholders has a nice ring to it but I like the Vegas Hard Eights.Do it so the Reno Aces can file a claim against them and they have to play games as the VEGAS PLACEHOLDERS.
