If the game goes to extra innings, the team batting starts with a man on second base. It's such fuckery.
And if you bring in a relief pitcher he MUST face 3 batters. Another nonsense rule. They basically erased a roster spot. They used to have lefty specialists. They would come in to face a left handed batter and then immediately be taken out.

The balk was a good call. The hit batter...I can't tell if the ball nicks the bat or not, but it clearly hits his hand. Singer should be pissed at himself, not Hernandez.
