The best sporting event i ever went to was 2009 Game 163 Twins vs Tigers.

Basically won the lottery as its the only pseudo playoff game the Twins have won in 20 years and probably one of the top 10 baseball games of the decade, but yeah I would never risk my money like that again because its 100x more likely to end in disappointment than that.

My roommate and I went to the 2007 NC game vs tOSU. We got two lower bowl tickets for about $200 after playing around on ticketreserve throughout the season. Started to regret it after OSU jumped out to an early lead and the Buckeye fans around us started gloating, but then we turned it around and won comfortably.

Of course, that was before Alabama ruined CFB.
