^^^ If anyone doesn't know, this was set up expecting a Pele win. The look on their faces...

Well Internazionale you know what you have to do for the greater good, lose your next two games in the Champions League.

However, since you have been absolutely inept as a club for the better part of 50 years only really being dominant while Juventus and Milan were destroyed by Calciopoli you’ll fuck this up too.

In advance, I say Internazionale vaffanculo.

Lenglet was brought to Barcelona to provide CB depth, not start. Get this Frog Pussy out in January.

It’s going to be nice not to care about the Champions League after mid-March this year.

Barcelona’s only goal this year is to finish top 4 in La Liga.

Let this sink in. Barcelona’s best player on the back line is an American who hasn’t even turned 20 yet.

Not watching but did Basaksehir walk off the field in Paris?

EDIT: Holy shit this is bad. UEFA has a big mess on its hands. It’s the fourth official accused of calling Basaksehir assistant coach Pierre Webo “Negro”.

Barcelona is getting Bayern in the next round and they deserve it.

EDIT: At least I’m not a Manchester United fan. Weird thing is Paris has already qualified for the next round but can still finish first in the group.

Without looking, who is the last team to beat Barcelona at Camp Nou in a group stage match before today?

Congrats to Porto, the only team from outside the big five leagues to make the knockout stage in the last two years. They are arguably the biggest club from outside the big five though.

Also Internazionale doing what they do best.

Pot 1

Bayern
Real Madrid
Manchester City
Liverpool
Chelsea
Dortmund
Juventus
Paris

Pot 2

Atletico
Moenchengladbach
Porto
Atalanta
Sevilla
Lazio
Barcelona
Leipzig

4 - Germany, Spain
3 - England, Italy
1 - France, Portugal

Champions League Draw

Moenchengladbach v Manchester City
Lazio v Bayern
Atletico v Chelsea
Leipzig v Liverpool
Porto v Juventus
Barcelona v Paris
Sevilla v Dortmund
Atalanta v Real Madrid

Kind of meh to be honest. Barcelona v Paris might be the headliner but neither team is playing well right now.

Europa League Draw

Wolfsberger v Tottenham
Dynamo Kyiv v Brugge
Real Sociedad v Manchester United
Benfica v Arsenal
Crvena zvezda v Milan
Antwerp v Rangers
Slavia Prague v Leicester
Salzburg v Villarreal
Braga v Roma
Krasnodar v Dinamo Zagreb
Young Boys v Leverkusen
Molde v Hoffenheim
Granada v Napoli
Maccabi Tel-Aviv v Shakhtar
Lille v Ajax
Olympiacos v PSV

This is a little bit interesting. Arsenal and Manchester United got tough draws.

Number of teams left in the Europa League by country.

4 - England
3 - Italy, Spain
2 - Austria, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Ukraine
1 - Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Israel, Norway, Russia, Scotland, Serbia, Switzerland

France and Russia have been disappointing so far. Makes the race for 5th and 6th best leagues more interesting.

I don’t know which one is crazier. Barcelona with a 12% chance to win the Champions League or Southern California with a 50% chance to make the CFP.

EDIT: Also Barcelona is still the favorite to win La Liga. Does 538 even watch the games?

Dear Nutopians,

Behold! An actual farmers' league team! (They also won a European title decades ago, too.)

Signed.

Celtic and Rangers really needed to go to the Premier League a long time ago.

This might all be moot though if Scotland secedes after Brexit.

Also it doesn’t look like Celtic is getting the coveted 10 in a row.
