They’re still so far behind where actual football is lol. How are there no 12 personnel empty formations or plays like QB run pop pass RPOs? Tebow popularized that 20 years ago and Meyer was probably running it before then

The Flexbone is probably the most viable it ever has been in 25. The wear and tear mechanic is brutal for for the QB though if you try to pull a Jeff Monken and run QB Zone like 5 times in a row.

The Pistol is OK, but there's just a lot of run concepts that are missing. I really like the zone runs, but there's only like 1 trap play in one Pistol formation.

The only other thing that bothers me is that for some reason every jet motion is a pop pass. There should still be some that have the hand off animation so you can run the Jet Read Option type stuff that teams run still.

Yeah I mean there's plenty of valid criticism for EA but getting the most out of their game engine isn't one imo. Also I can literally only name 2 players I know wore one leg or arm sleeve and it's RG3 or Tommy "Cutlets" DeVito.

I actually don't mind Bordeaux that much, I don't really consider him a SHILL he points out gameplay flaws while he's playing pretty regularly.

Also there's no union for the coaches so they probably had to negotiate with them on a fairly individual basis which probably took a lot of time.

Cool cool, but can I get some random asshole intent on white-washing Native American history to show up in the half empty stands as the unofficial, antiquated Chief Illiniwek mascot??

It's just not the authentic Illinois football experience without that... oh and the random ass weeknight game with the stadium about 20% full because literally no one wants to commute to Champaign on a weeknight.
