I don't see much "Columbus" in the new logo.

Also LOL at Toronto. Looks like another season with no playoffs. At least you're not Chicago.

Vancouver wins the Cascadia Cup and should get the last playoff spot in West since they have a much easier schedule than Portland does the rest of the way.

Calling it right now, Seattle isn't winning MLS Cup. Their backline isn't good enough, Martins is a ticking time bomb and they don't know how to win in the playoffs.

At this rate, Seattle may not win the Shield either, @Snorky's Shame. If LA gets it done against Dallas on Sunday, just a couple of draws or better will do and they take the Shield.

And just as I say that...they don't. Seattle with a massive lifeline because Penedo sucks duck's ass as a goalkeeper.

Dominic Kinnear will coach San Jose next year. I guess I have a few compelling reasons to attend the last Fire game of the year:

- Beasley's homecoming
- Kinnear's last game as Houston coach
- Houston's last game in the Eastern Conference

Sad that none of the reasons involve the Fire.

So let's see...

New York and Portland had backline issues.
Kansas City's physical style doesn't translate well on the international stage.
Montreal just isn't good enough to win the CCL.
I guess DC is MLS' best shot in the CCL.

If you are scoring at home, it's Costa Rica 3, Mexico 2, Honduras 1, Canada 1 and the USA 1 in the quarterfinals.

Just another year of MLS not doing anything in the CCL.

DC vs. Alajuelense
Montréal vs. Pachuca
América vs. Saprissa
Herediano vs. Olimpia

Yeah, I was there.

There was a rumor going around that the blind draw for Jones was a sham. It wasn't because Kraft called in a favor.

Chicago actually pulled their offer BEFORE the blind draw.

Los Angeles and Seattle on right now.

Seattle wins Supporters Shield.

Ianni and Hurtado for Anibaba and the cap space to get Pappa. What a one-sided trade for Seattle.

Still think Los Angeles will win MLS Cup over New England.

Anyone know French? MLS Live is showing the French feed for Montreal-DC right now.

Chivas is officially dead. Their records will not carryover to the new Los Angeles club which will start in 2017.

Houston and Kansas City to the Western Conference.

34 game season, with the format staying the same.

Today is a good day. Fuck off Chivas and rot in hell.

Will be at FC Dallas game tonight. Pretty excited to see what the playoff atmosphere will be like.

Keep the expectations low. Usually the knock-out stage games don't draw because the turn around time to sell tickets isn't very long.

Steve Zakuani retires. Will always be remembered for a gruesome injury and a bad commercial.

Orlando acquired Tally Hall from Houston. A couple of MLS All-Star appearances and a few random USMNT call-ups, but what can I expect going forward?

Solid keeper but I'm surprised you guys didn't go after MacMath.

They gave Houston allocation money and got back an intl player slot as well. Sort of felt like to me that Hall was a secondary part of the deal. Orlando is clearly planning to sign as many South American players as they can, for better or worse imo. I don't think the dispersal draft order has been set yet, but if Orlando picks early, I wouldn't be shocked to see Kennedy. As to MacMath, there was a rumor Orlando will still target him, but I'm wondering how much Philly is asking, because beyond some stuff like allocation money, Orlando doesn't have much to trade right now.

Somewhat unpopular opinion:

MLS should start the quarterfinals midweek and play the knockout games on the weekend.

These games get lost with the NFL, NBA, CFB and NHL going on. Also these games shouldn't be on MLS Live.

Orlando releases their new kit tomorrow.

What I hope they go with:

Home: Purple shirt/White shorts/Purple socks
Away: Gold/Purple/White

What they'll probably go with:

Home: All Purple
Away: All White

New York City releases theirs next Thursday.

Jersey week sucks. The new jerseys should be released now, not a week before the season.

I hate the away goals rule. Turned the game off once New York scored.

Rather have best-of-three, first-to-five than away goals.

Young Luca was at it again on his XBox One in the sky, playing FIFA 15 as LA. He'd made it to the postseason phase, but in the second leg of the Conference Semis, he stick to the default difficulty. It was manageable. The boy did it. 5-0 for Team LucA.

New York City:

Shirt: B+

Kit: A-

It's a carbon copy of the traditional Manchester City kit but the big plus is it isn't monochrome.

Billy Haisley is a Eurosnob. I don't take his opinions on MLS too seriously.

If anyone wants to bring up the fact that Melbourne City don't wear light blue, it's due to Sydney telling them no.

So cool that Charlie Davies has redefined his game. He's played a poacher role so well this playoffs.

How many Revs in January camp? Lee, Yones are locks - maybe Farrell and Davies too?

This NE/NY game has been awesome, btw.
