Passing game should be a monster this year if Brett improves in any area downfield or reading defenses.

Lucien
Payton
Fuller
Massington
Walker
Duarte
Johnson
*edit not even counting true freshmen like Lasley, Roberts, Van Dyke and possibly Wadood.

Yep, and yet sadly he does seem to embody CFB today. CFB has been reduced to nothing more than brand marketing, and Larry Scott is it's champion.

Pac-12 Media Day is so pathetic. Really all Media Day's are brutal except for SEC because you have the Team SEC idiots in the lobby making it hilarious.

Dafuq?

Kessler is just an unassuming kind of guy. The anti-Matt Leinart, if you will. Dumb tweet of the day is dumb.

I think the ranking for THE Bruins is fine. Not too high, not too low. Highest preseason ranking for UCLA since '98 tho.

18 returning starters coming back. Plus the best player in the conference in Myles Jack. Add in Hundley returning as well and Oregon, Southern Cal and Stanford all at home. Ranking is justified.

Opened the season with Texas and played Oregon, Furd, and USC at home that year too :Ligthbulb:

O0O00O0o Didn't catch that brother. I was at that Oregon game ala 'the Cade McNown puking at the 50 yard line game'.

College Gameday made its first ever trip out to the west coast for that one as well. Good times.

ASU should be lower.
Why? Todd Graham might be a huge d-bag and look like Britney Spears on the sidelines but his teams win.

UCLA ranked high to start the year? This always ends well…

Stanford getting two votes to win the North is LOL worthy.

Replacing nine starters on the defensive side of the ball is tough under any circumstance, in the Pac-12 it has the potential to be a killer.

Says something when 95% of the Washington fanbase celebrated when Sark bolted and then they hired Petersen. Think he'll do really well in the North with Stanford while Oregon might come back down to earth a little bit with Helfrich. He needs to recruit LA like those teams under Don James.

In other words, bring huge suitcases full of money into the projects...

So what do you guys think of UDUB? You think Peterson can turn them into perennial winner?

I like Petersen a lot. And I wasn't that down on Sarkisian. Sark isn't a special coach, but he is a good recruiter. At the stage that he took UW over, that is what was needed most of all.

This season, the OL and Defensive front 7 should both be really good, but there are going to be a lot of untested guys at the offensive skill positions and in the defensive backfield.

We'll see. The schedule is pretty friendly. UW should win 9 regular season games, at least. Ten would be a very good performance. Eleven is possible, but improbable.

I like the Huskies' chances against Stanford at home...

I am pretty eerie on that trip to Seattle in early November. Could be some weather and Mora returns to Husky Stadium. Trap game definitely when later in the month you have SC and Stanford.
