The 2020 perpetual OFFSEASON THREAD

Four teams was too many last year, haha.

The AD, who is at a school that’s perennially in the top 20, put it this way: Observe the actions and habits of the fans and players, the sport’s two most important constituencies. Fans care exponentially less about non-playoff bowl games than they do College Football Playoff games. Elite players are tipping their hand — wisely, by the way— by sitting out non-playoff bowl games.

Michigan's AD? Gotta be.

I think 8 is a good size for a playoff. Fits into 3 weekends, just like college basketball. Shouldn't disrupt the normal (meaningless) bowl schedule for those teams that are 7-5 and want the extra weeks of practice time for their players.
Just give everyone else extra practice time.

In talking with a buddy of mine who is a FCS official, the two-minute time limit is more a guideline than a rule.

The 90-minute "babysitting" duty is for FBS only.

The VIQUEENS should’ve taken Winfield Jr.

Bateman will be a first rounder next year
