East bracket is set.

Florida vs Tampa Bay
Boston vs Toronto

NYR vs Washington
Carolina vs NYI

The last NHL game in Arizona for a while, maybe ever, is tonight. Oilers don't have anything to play for anymore so they should be resting players. Still waiting on L.A. and Vegas to decide who gets third in the Pacific and who gets the second wild card.

Pretty depressing to see the end of a team like this. They may not have been a success, but it's awful for those who loved the team.

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Sally Wolfert and Jimmie Lister had been here from the beginning.

Each had attended the first home game Oct. 10, 1996, when the team was known as the Phoenix Coyotes and played at America West Arena. Each had been a season-ticket holder for 27 seasons, sticking with the team through so much on and off the ice.

Now they were standing at center ice for the ceremonial face-off before the Arizona Coyotes’ 5-2 win against the Edmonton Oilers at Mullett Arena on Wednesday, expecting this to be the last NHL game in Arizona for at least a few years.

It was awesome to be out there between Coyotes forward Clayton kella and Oilers center Connor McDavid. It was awful.

“I am sad,” Wolfert said. “I am on the verge of tears, because it’s like a death in the family. There’s a loss. … Something else will fill those evenings. But it’s like an end of something, and it’s always sad when something ends.”

Yeah, I mean the bulk of people out there didn't care, which is why no one attended games in Glendale, but for those who cared, this sucks. It was sad watching that game end.
I don’t know shit about Phoenix and where the population is and the suburbs are, but the Glendale thing seems overblown. Then again, I don’t go to Mets games because I don’t want to drive there, and public transportation for a night game might end up with me stranded.

Not even watching LOL

If the West representative isn't one of Dallas, Colorado, or Vegas I'll be surprised. East could be Carolina, Florida, or the Rangers. Everyone else needs to hope for a goalie heater or injuries to the aforementioned teams.

Vegas's loss to Anaheim means that L.A. just needs a point against Chicago to make it three years in a row against Edmonton in the playoffs.

I think the Kings are intentionally tanking this LMAO

EDIT: nevermind, they got smart and realized it's better to play Edmonton than Dallas.
