Well fuck, it was 14-3 Stanford late in the 1st quarter. Stanford kicked off, USC fumbled, Stanford got the ball on USC's 30 or so.
Thought for sure Stanford would make it 21-3 in short order, and it would be a typical, methodical David Shaw dismantling of a Clay Helton team.
Defense stepped up big time and held Furd to only 6 more points.
Slovis is one bad mofo. Only one game, sure, but he looks waaaaay better than JT Daniels did last year.

We're remodeling our house, so we started this game really late. Finished it at 1 AM. I'm glad I stayed up for that. I would have hated to stay up that late with church meetings early the next morning if they'd lost. At least I was tired for a good reason. Sorry, @Southpaw. My old college friend was at the game and said the UT fans were nothing but classy to him. So I tip my hat to you and hope you can figure out the issues on D and can start moving in a positive direction going forward.
