Washington State, Oregon State, Cal, good luck fellas.
Nevermind. Rose Bowl = dead. Who cares.
If you're the "Big Ten".. why you keep NW, Purdue, Indiana, Rutgers, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska? What's the point? They've already said 'fuck Geography, we want MONEY'. So why would you keep Purdue when you can poach Clemson?
But you know they will fuck the schedule up thoI still have prolly 6-7 more years before I completely lose interest. OU moving to a new conference with a new schedule and new faces will keep me interested for a little bit.

You mean #1 performing academic school in the PAC last year ASU?lol the SEC doesn't give a shit about Oregon. SEC didn't come to play school so those school's academics don't matter (setting aside ASU of course, they'd fit right in if they could play footbaw)
It's more just D1/D2/D3 and then NFL DEV LEAGUENEW MINOR LEAGUES
The Big Ten has essentially said 'we do not care about geography'. TV wants BRANDZ, markets and nashnul prestige.Probably doesn't seem like it but these schools generate a good amount of revenue and have large alumni bases all over the country.
There's some disparity amongst them. Like Illinois actually doubles up on Rutgers somehow, but they're all sizeable.

No one in the country (outside of alums) cares about Nebraska (It ain't the 90s anymore), Iowa, Minnesota, NW, Illinois, Indiana, Purdue, Rutgers ("NYC" thing is bullshit), Maryland (I guess at least they bring DMV).
So why would you even have them in your league? What's the point? Clearly no one on earth is like "Man, I gotta watch that Purdue football game!".
