Playing for Barcelona seems to be everyone’s childhood dream.

For 95% of those players, it becomes an adult nightmare.

Just waiting for Raphinha to be forced out of the club in two years.

Olympiakos, Fenerbahce, Zurich and Malmo all out of the UCL.

Not so long ago Greece and Turkey were top ten leagues. At this rate, Olympiakos will enter at the same time as Lincoln Red Imps.

Turkey was 11th for 19/20... They're currently 20th and probably going to sink more.

On the other end, the Netherlands was 14th a couple years ago an in danger of falling apart. Ajax basically single handily saved them and they're currently 6th ahead of Portugal for 23/24 allocations. They've got a legit shot to pass France at 5th if PSV qualify for CL.

Scotland was left for dead and are currently 8th for 23/24 too which is interesting.

UCL Groups brought to you by Florentino Perez.

Group A: Ajax, Liverpool, Napoli, Rangers

Real Madrid Castilla would have no problem getting out of Group F.

Haaland and Lewandowski face their old teams.

Battle of Britain with Liverpool and Rangers.

Porto looks like the non-Big 5 team most likely to get to the next round.

Plzen’s accountants are celebrating right now. The coaches not so much.

James Milner gave away a penalty and got a yellow 5 minutes later which begs the question why is James Milner on the field for a premier league contender in TYOOL 2022

Copa Libertadores going to have another all Brazilian final as Flamengo eliminate Velez Sarsfield 6-1 on aggregate.

The competition has basically turned into another Copa Brasil with a few Argentine squads invited.

Hello darkness my old friend…

No choice but to start Pique but Sergi Roberto and Busquets?

When does the World Cup start?

if I'm Liverpool, Darwin doesn't see league/CL games for a month after that stunt. Salah walks that in if he gets it

Interesting draw. We are going a few new teams in the quarter-finals.

And Barcelona just drew Manchester United in the Europa League. Wow.
