Remember Malaga?

Ten years ago they were seconds away from the UCL semifinals.

Now they’re ten points away from safety in the Segunda.

Austin losing to Violette (who?) has to be one of the more ridiculous upsets in a while. Even if they sent their B team.

LOL Austin.

Also 3 Serie A teams in the UCL Quarterfinals just like we all predicted.

The Netherlands have passed Portugal in the coefficient and are now 6th.

I can’t remember a more boring set of quarterfinals. 3 were decided in the first leg and Milan never seemed in trouble against Napoli.

The semis should be better though but it feels like the real UCL final is Real Madrid and Manchester City.

Looks like Germany has the best race in the Big Five leagues. Greece and Belgium also have interesting races because the traditional powers (Olympiakos, Club Brugge and Anderlecht) aren’t involved. What has happened to Anderlecht? Not even the best team in Brussels anymore.

Speaking of the “Big Five” leagues, the Netherlands will start next year with more coefficient points than France. Amazing considering where they were a couple of years ago.

The entire Europa League final has been bad, but extra time has been abysmal. It feels like there have been more stoppages than play.

It's been 23 years since a Spanish team has lost a European final (excluding Spain vs Spain matchups), and 17 of the last 30 UCL and UEL winners have come from there, which are both insane stats

Sevilla juju so good it even beat MOURINHO
