**this is an update**

The boy has collected 3 d3 offers so far. One with enough promised money that's it's nearly a full ride. Still having conversations with D1 schools. They have told him they plan to see how he develops in his senior year and what the portal brings before filling up with HS kids.

I'll be curious if the new expanded total of scholarships leads to more freshman offers or just more portal offers.

If Marietta offers him, that's the best academic school of that group.

Anderson is probably the worst of the group. I asked Mrs. Goblue about the school and her take was "they are a school that hands out a degree that about the nicest thing I can say."

Mount St. Joseph is the best school with an offer thus far.

Not knowing what degree your son is interesting in pursuing.

Anderson has been all but ruled out. Ohio Northern has a beautiful campus and really nice athletic facilities.

He wants to do meteorology so wherever he goes he will have to be creative and probably finish a masters somewhere else.
