Yeah but at least that guy has them above average. I'd probably make him a Bullpen guy and he'd be fine. Nobody would see the same pitch the whole season.
Scouting could be poor too
Guys with a lot of pitches tend to be starters or busts for me since most have average stuff and movement. Ugly is a solid starter. 6 average to slightly above average pitches.
'peg was in the WNW, the worst division and inferior to the ENE @Yankee151 @Mr. RadpantsTHat division was the AL East.
The only thing Powell (fucking Lasty Lasty) looks to have going for him is his movement.
Yeah, he might get a K per year though.
My viewpoint:
With the 4th pick, there wasn't a guy I was vested in. There were a couple players I thought I might want, but none of them stood out to me as must haves. I'm more than comfortable having my 1st round pick this year to essentially be Chaves. I also get an additional first next year, and a third rounder this year.
I don't really feel like I lose anything, but gain a quality SP in Chaves, an additional 1st rounder next year, and a 3rd rounder this year. From my point of view, I got the better deal here.
You should've called Scoutie PippenThis draft sucks anyway.
Scoutie Pippen needs his own teamYou should've called Scoutie Pippen
Awww I wanted the Russian Shortstop. Nice pick @Wolfman21
Alright forget it, not trying to trade up anymore
He was who i was debating taking over Schmidt. Great pickHe was my #2 after Dr. Jekyll Schmitt. His overall bat was too much to pass up. Especially when I can put him about anywhere in the infield. I wanted to go pitcher so badly, but there weren't anymore pitchers that I was in love with at #5 and I knew Chekomasov wouldn't be around much longer after I picked so trading down wouldnt have worked. My scouting Director says there are 4-5 guys(all taken now btw) that are difference makers. Being in the Top 5...i've gotta get one of those...position be damned.
@Mr. Radpants ur up.
Took C/1B/DH Scott Bell. Was either him or SP Pashenka whom Karl snagged just before.
Oh no he wasn't. Joe Kirk is who I almost took
I like Kirk. Can play that dude anywhere and have a + fielder. Just seemed too average overall as a hitter to take at #5 for me. Hes one of the few guys, like the dude I picked, who my scout likes better than OSA
