Has anyone ever talked back someone who was Very Low? I offered this LB 120 tackles, 13 sacks, and that he'll play in 9 games and he didn't budge.

If you look at the 3 recruiting pitches for a guy there are two pitches that sway a transfer. Stay closer to home and playing time at a C- or lower for your school will cause a committed player to transfer after his freshman year if he doesn't get meaningful playing time. Hopefully that made sense! That's why I never have transfers out of Wake Forest because I don't bother recruiting guys that will bolt anyway

That makes sense. It's really frustrating to see guys transfer when they're going to start next year, though. But I guess it's made up by all the countless 95+ guys that never leave early.
