USA Men's Ice Hockey: "Not as overrated as the Russians, but still overrated."
What a down year this has been for USA Ice Hockey. When your women win the same medal as before but your men end up with lead on their necks, you know it's a down year. I expect the shutout to continue for a bit for the men in their first game in Pyeongchang.

Last lap of the men's biathlon relay and 4 teams are within a few seconds of each other, NBC cuts to 5 minutes of commercials. Amazing coverage. Way to take all the excitement out of an event

Wait, wat does this even mean? Canada was the betting favorites to win gold in both men and women's. USA men's were +600, which makes them 4th. Canada was +200, Russia +225 and Sweden +450.

Finland beats USA and Russia... no one says "Finland must be pretty good", everyone just says "USA and Russia were overrated"... lol okay

So, in conclusion, the first gold medalist was an American, and the last gold medalist(s)...are Canadian.

Obligatory Greece national anthem, and the Olympic flag being lowered, so that it's passed over to Korea, and they do their presentation. Oh yeah, they have to play Aegukga first, then the presentation.

I've been waiting 4 years for the moment I can sit on my couch tonight and watch some children dance nonsensically while amateur athletes I'll never here of or see again walk around and wave to thousands of hachikos that are hypnotized by hidden lizard symbolygy

And @fried rice, you really wanted me to do one long-ass post? Nope. You won't get that. By the way, I believe I warned everybody in the oldtopia version of this thread that this was going to happen. The Hachiko is a Utopian of his word.
