Gotta be awful to be someone like that and then be a coach. Their greatness was so beyond anything they'll coach. Then to coach would just be like, "Play better. You guys should just be an all time great. That would fix everything you're doing wrong. Play better." Then he goes home and makes chili that fails to live up to greatness too.
 
My dig at Wayne for his coaching is tongue-in-cheek, because his greatness was such that his skills were innate. No one can be taught to be like he was. Often times the guys who weren't great players turn out to be great coaches specifically because they understand how to communicate those concepts to guys that can execute better than they could.
