If we are using the Mike Leach method, I think a lion has the upper hand against a gold miner, who were mostly just drunk Irishmen, and a chief should have no problem against a bird, unless its one of those really old chiefs like Chief Joseph.

In the SUPERB OWL, the lions would be favored against both, unless there are like 300 chiefs and 2 lions. Even then it would be close
