Big 16 West: BYU, Colorado State, Texas Tech, Texas, Baylor, TCU, OU, OSU
Big 16 East: Kansas, K-State, Iowa State, West Virginia, Memphis, Cincinnati, Tulane, UCF
I'd still prefer this, though
Pac-16 West: Washington, Wazzu, Oregon, Oregon State, Cal, Stanford, USC, UCLA
Pac-16 East: Arizona, ASU, Utah, Colorado, Texas, OU, Kansas, [insert current Big 12 team other than Baylor because fuck Baylor]
Hamilton, slut.
Those Big 16 divisions suck. Even more unbalanced then the ACC.
BSU gonna roll on dem wildcats. Ready for another beardown meltdown.
CSU to the Las Vegas bowl against Utah?
10-2, great season, your reward is a bowl game before Christmas in Vegas! Wooo!
Football for mid-majors is so pointless.
Big 12 is pretty good as is. Big Ten should be a warning sign for further conference expansion. Instead of seeing Nebraska and Iowa every year, Michigan now gets to play Rutgers and Maryland! I'm pretty sure Michigan sees Wisconsin (and Nebraska) 2 of every 8 years from now on, except it will be 6 years where they don't play followed by 2 years where they do.
Attendance is starting to be an issue at a lot of schools. Are you, as an Oklahoma fan, excited to play Cincinnati every year instead of Texas Tech? I mean, as a Michigan fan, I'd much rather play Iowa than Maryland or Rutgers. Sure, Iowa might be shitty, but at least we've played them something like 70 times before. Winning at Kinnick will always be cool - fucking pink locker room. Winning at where ever the fuck Rutgers plays is a giant meh.
Every conference will over expand. Then, at some point like 10-15 years from now, and teams will break off leaving eight eight-team conferences and there will be EIGHT TRUE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS playing for one national championship.

BSU is no Oregon.
Be years before the Pac-12 accepts new members.
The Pac-16. We coulddaaaa be somebooooooooddddddddyyyyyyyyyyyyy
8 conferences of 16 teams is 128 teams. How many in fbs now? Is it still fbs? Or are they both fcs? Little fcs and big fcs? But which is little which is big?
8 conferences of 8 teams is 64 teams (8 x 8 = 64 because it just does). That's your FBS. Everyone else becomes FCS by default.
I see that but it's kind of shitty if you just say oh Vanderbilt you get to stay cuz you were in the sec or wake forest or whatever. Gotta thin the herd. But sone of these shit schools in power 5s need to go.
The original proposal of the Pac-10 adding Colorado, OU, OSU, Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech (Fuck Baylor) would have been dope.
well, yeah.I don't give a shit either way about any of these teams, but Ohio state did basically go through 3 qbs and still won their ccg by 59

Why would Vandy be in? Let's realign everything.I see that but it's kind of shitty if you just say oh Vanderbilt you get to stay cuz you were in the sec or wake forest or whatever. Gotta thin the herd. But sone of these shit schools in power 5s need to go.
They stopped caring about that in 1978 when Arizona and ASU came along. Names don't mean shit.Idk it is the PACIFIC athletic conference
That's awesome actually.. If we are blowing it up this gets my voteWhy would Vandy be in? Let's realign everything.
Take the top 2/3 of football... that's approximately 84 teams. Buh-bye Vandy, UAB, Troy, South Alabama, etc.
6 14-team conferences. Your 13-game schedule is your 6 division opponents, 2 cross-division conference opponents, and 1 school from every other conference (on a rotating basis... meaning you will have played every team in the nation in 14 years).
6 conference winners + 2 at-large go into an 8-team playoff.
BOOM. You're welcome.
Iowa-Tennessee is definitely going to be a 10-6 type of game.

Jesus Christ somebody kill me.
We go from playing Texas, Oklahoma, TCU, Baylor, and Okie Lite every year (among others) to getting fucking Memphis, Cincy, Tulan, and UCF?
RIP awesome home games.
I'd seriously go pickett outside out AD and plead for Ollie to get us into the ACC coastal.
(8) 10-team conferences. Play all 9 conference opponents plus 3 OOC games (games against non-D1A teams forbidden).
8 champs get into the playoff.
