I'll take the bait.... Jobs that are 100%, zero argument better than Nebraska:Nebraska is a top 25 coaching job ez pz

Lol Stanford? UNC? Ole Miss? Come on man.
Sure... because it's 2022 not 2001 anymore. Things change. The advantages Nebraska had all went out the window with Solich. Baylor is a more attractive job than Nebraska which would be have been totally insane to say 10 years ago.I think you are conflating recent on field success with attractiveness to top flight candidates. Nobody would argue the success factor, but there is a lot more that goes into it.
it ain't bama or ready2roll. think of the 30-40 year old hot shot CROOT CORCHES out there. all their earliest memories of brasky football are prolly them getting embarassed by miami. they haven't done shit since.I think you are conflating recent on field success with attractiveness to top flight candidates. I'd argue they are a top 25 job but whatever it doesn't really matter. The institutional and fan support is elite. NIL money is top tier. The division of their conference is maybe the weakest of all the power conferences; The recruiting base isn't good but they have still been consistently pulling in the best classes in the Big Ten West. The job is attractive enough to get a solid coach, and a solid coach could win at a decent clip there.Read the end of my post again... "It ain't 2001":
Stanford's had 6 top 12 finishes since 2010... Nebraska hasn't done that since 2001.
Ole Miss can get eLiTe recruits and has been to a NY6 game 3 of the last 8 years... Nebraska hasn't been to a BCS/NY6 bowl since (you guessed it) 2001.
UNC is probably fairly even with Nebraska.
Nebraska hasn't even finished a season ranked in 10 years. They haven't finished in the top 20 in 14 years.
What reality are you living in? @Dr. Shats Basoon
I think they just had 2 rather solid coaches and neither won there. It's going to take a very good coach to win there. The talent isn't anywhere to where it was before too...I'd argue they are a top 25 job but whatever it doesn't really matter. The institutional and fan support is elite. Exactly. Look at tennessee! They have sucked for two decades and still pull in top 10 recruiting classes regularly. Top 15-20 every year even at their worst. You guys are vastly underestimating the appeal of TEH BLUE BLOODS. Michigan has won half a title since 1948 and hasn’t accomplished anything in CROOTS’ lifetimes that MSU hasn’t accomplished (in fact even less) and they still get tons of talent. Nebraska has been downright bad for nearly a decade and they still had CROOT classes ranked in the top 25 from 2018-2021 at least (not gonna look any further). I’m sure their financial investment in football is incredibly high so they likely have amazing facilities. They have a great stadium, etc. etc. It’s not gonna be the mid-90s again but Nebraska would have zero issue getting to Wisconsin/Michigan/MSU levels if they get an actual good coach.
Ok I just texted Trev Alberts and told him to fold the program. No point in continuing to field a team since they will never return to their previous high of best program in the countryI think they just had 2 rather solid coaches and neither won there. They're not even top 30 in terms of NASHNUL players: https://fightingirishwire.usatoday....homa-notre-dame-michigan-penn-iowa-wisconsin/
That list isn't the end-all, be-all but you could argue they're on the same level as places like Kentucky, Cincinnati, NC State based off of recent results + number of NASHNUL players. No program has fallen further in the last 10-15 years.

Agreed. You should do thisOk I just texted Trev Alberts and told him to fold the program. No point in continuing to field a team since they will never return to their previous high of best program in the country
And lol at bruin228 cherry picking the recruiting class data and ending before Brasky fell off a cliff. In the last five years they barely crack the top 25 and drop as low as 41!
When everyone thought their corch was gonna fired? Lol at one bad year being CHERRY PICKING

It’s not 2001 anymore
Today's CROOTS weren't even born in 2001. What recruit is going to be enchanted with some BLUE BLOOD mystique from time immemorial?
Miami and Brasky are basically the same progrumMiami still gets CROOTS and they suck
Miami still gets CROOTS and they suck
Miami is a lot better than Brasky over the last 20 years, I'm just chirping at Rad
I thought you guys were supposed to be my internet friends and pump me up. Not shove me into a locker and steal my bookbag
I gotchu
People going after Shats is shameful. You Nutopians, you go too far.
It’s not 2001 anymore
Miami still has 2 giant advantages that a place like Nebraska doesn't: There are 10000000 good CROOTS in their area. They are located in Miami.Miami still gets CROOTS and they suck
