I'm prolly gonna make you mad by posting this...but that "article" is laughable. What exactly are we supposed to glean from that? Looks like there have been multiple guys that actually got on base against an Aroldis Chapman 102 mph fastball yet Baez flew out. Big woop?

Baez is on pace to have more strikeouts than hits, walks and RBI combined this season. Maybe write an article about that. Or maybe write one about a rookie that is living up to the hype in the same city on the south side.

i saw that AB.. i was at the casino taking a break from playing poker.. I sat at the sports book to watch some baseball and a guy I knew just started betting baseball but he knew nothing about baseball.. so i was trying to help him out a little and I was telling him how good Sale was.. then he gets in trouble and he says - he doesnt look that good...and Trout came up.. I told him, that Trout was probably the best player in baseball.. and then he went salami

guy says "yeah, he looks pretty good".

its about the matchup.. Chapmans blazing fastball to Javy Baez's blazing bat speed/power.. it was an alleged dream matchup. one of those fun moments that happens a few times a season. where the situation lines up with the game in the balance.. when the game went to the ninth.. thats all i was hoping for.. to see Chapman face Baez - and it didnt dissappoint

What if I told you that Jesus Montero was being heckled by a Mariners scout and responded by throwing an ice cream sandwich at him?

Montero was coaching first base, and at the end of an inning, the unidentified cross-checker yelled at him to hustle off the field, according to Boise official scorer Liza Safford. Montero then headed to the AquaSox dugout on the third-base side.
According to a game offical, the cross-checker then ordered an ice cream sandwich and had it sent to Montero in the dugout, escalating the confrontation further. The official said Montero -- who arrived at Mariners Spring Training 40 pounds overweight this season -- approached the stands with a bat while screaming profanities and threw the sandwich at the cross-checker. Montero had to be pulled back from the stands by Everett pitching coach Nasusel Cabrera, Safford said.
Montero was not ejected from the game and remained in the AquaSox dugout until it was completed, the game official confirmed.
Mariners general manager Jack Zduriencik told the Seattle Times late Thursday night, "I am aware of the incident in Boise. We are currently in the process of gathering information, but until I have all the details, I cannot comment."
