Carolina isn't going to resign Greg Hardy


"Multiple team sources" tell the Charlotte Observer the Panthers will not bring back suspended free agent DE Greg Hardy.

Hardy will go to trial Monday to face misdemeanor domestic violence charges. If found guilty, he'll be slapped with a league-imposed six-game ban. Regardless of the outcome, the Panthers have washed their hands of Hardy and will not re-sign him. People around the NFL still expect interest to be high in Hardy once his situation clarifies and he hits the market.

lulz, looks like Hardy's lawyer's were able to find a loophole in the system i.e. large stacks of cash to the victim

Meh Mariota has to drastically change his play style and learn how a pro-style offense works before his career can even take off. But I agree with you that going to Cleveland will guarantee it will never have a chance.

I just love that the same people that get incensed about underinflating balls (which may or may not give an advantage) are the same people that were using stuff that undoubtedly gives you an advantage.

He was directly responsible for a lot of those big plays the Panthers gave up during that horrible 1-6-1 stretch. A 5th round rookie out of UNC stepped in and played a helluva lot better.
