Kinda weird that one of Azerbaijan/Armenia/Georgia/Belarus/Macedonia will qualify to the Euro because of it, but whatever. Baku is hosting some games so that'd be neat

I never really got into the US-Mexico matches in first half of the year. That said, 2022 might be the last time we play Mexico in WCQ. I’d imagine there would be a different format for qualifying by 2030 assuming neither country has to qualify for 2026.

The only prize I can think of for the CONCACAF League is the top two go to the Copa America’s hosted by CONMEBOL. I don’t they’ll be happy about the prospect of losing TV money from the US and/or Mexico.
