ESPN bowl projections have SC playing in the Foster Farms Bowl against either Penn State or Maryland.

dafuq is the Foster Farms Bowl, you say? I said the same thing. Thanks to Wikipedia, I now know it's the new name for the Fight Hunger Bowl, which was also previously known as the Emerald Bowl and the San Francisco Bowl.

That sounds awful. Would any of those teams actually want to play in that bowl game?

:dunno: Meh. The players will probably like playing in the new Levi's Stadium. Although actually being in San Francisco for New Year's would be cooler.

Probably the only time they'll get to play there under Seven-Win Steve

Go Ducks. I can't have my buddy's Cats making it to their first ever Rose Bowl. It's too fun to hold that over his head.
We wouldn't be in the Rose Bowl even if we made it to the playoff. No way we get anything higher than a 4 seed and that puts us in the Sugar Bowl.

Pac12 coty/dpoy maybe.

National honors will go to a Mississippi school and whatever SEC defender is having the best season, because SEC/east coast bias.

Everything is in SF except for the game. The hotels, rally, activities, etc. It's actually one of the best non-first or second tier bowls to get into. Great city + cool venue. Although if you're a visiting fan you went from walking to AT&T Park to having to drive an hour south. But I guess you can tailgate this way. The main thing that sucks is the Pac #4 has to play the Big #7 which is dumb.

Anyways the bowl CEO said it's basically going to be Stanford unless Arizona loses and falls to them. Arizona will play in the Fiesta unless they get absolutely raped by Oregon IMO. He said that the two bowls ahead of them (Alamo/Holiday) will pick the LA schools. He said they hope Nebraska or Iowa plays in the bowl which should happen unless B1G gets two. Maybe Maryland or Rutgers too.

Bruins are hoping for Alamo. Holiday would love to take SC (as UCLA just played there 2 years ago). Utah possibly to Vegas.

I think unless Arizona gets jail raped UCLA to Alamo. Even if they had a choice because AZ isn't in a CFP non-playoff bowl (WTF else do I call it?), I think they go with UCLA.

Wouldn't mind the Holiday Bowl. I'd prolly drive down and see it. Have little desire to go to San Antonio.

UCLA should get some speed and join the ESS EEE CEE

Pac-12 bowl tie-ins = sucking ass since forever.
They're all bad. The Las Vegas I like because it's in Las Vegas and MWC #1 is usually decent.

By far the worst is New Mexico. Not only is it in a shit hole but it's against MWC #4 or something. Our #7 plays MWC #4 in a shitty cold stadium.

For old time, doh looks up stuff about Pac-12 Football sake... by comparison with the other major conferences:

-- The Big Ten's #7 gets to stay in San Francisco and play in the newest NFL stadium against the Pac-12 #4.
-- The ACC #7 gets NYC vs. B1G or in one of two bowls against SEC teams in NFL stadiums
-- The God Conference gets NFL stadium vs. ACC/B1G

Not sure if it is better or worse than El Paso.

Yeesh, what a choice.

On the menu, in Column A is giant shit sandwich. In Column B is a bowl of vomit soup.

Ah well, both are only hours away from Amarillo, where (according to my coworker) there is a "bomb-ass steakhouse."

The people who settled Amarillo either lost a wagon wheel or lacked ambition.

Final AP rankings for Pac-12 teams:

#2 Oregon
#10 UCLA
#12 ASU
#19 Zona
#20 SC
#21 Utah

Zona is hilariously low, Georgia in front of UCLA is also funny

Tied for most top 25 spots with the mighty SEC, though Furd should definitely be ranked over Auburn

Not really. We shit the bed in the CCG and didn't show up until the second half of the Fiesta Bowl.

Zona: 10 wins, division title, 3 top 25 wins (including one top 5), losses against all ranked teams
UCLA: 10 wins, 5 top 25 wins, losses against 2 top 25 teams and a Furd team that should be ranked
Georgia: 10 wins, 3 top 25 wins, losses against two mediocre teams and 1 top 25 team

SEC SEC SEC

If Zona was in the SEC they'd be borderline top 10. Look at Mississippi State
