Surprised this thread doesn't get more love this time of year.

My God, Kirby fell apart quickly. I ended up turning the game off before he even got out of the inning. Painful to watch.

Yeah it was a train wreck of epic proportion. Never seen a pitcher go to hell like that before. Credit Virginia for fighting back and almost pulling it out.

Winner take all tomorrow. Wahoos beat down Vandy to force a Game 3 winner take all for the title tomorrow. Gonna be a battle of attrition but I'd give the slight edge to the Wahoos.

Not surprised with Vandy preseason number one.

LOL at the UCLA preseason number 4 ranking. Did injuries decimate them last year? @bruin

Not a homer pick, but would love to see Nebraska in Omaha this year. Could happen with who is coming back.

yeah, injuries were brutal last year. Savage is a recruiting monster so it's not surprising to see UCLA reloading. @Plotty

BS that GT isn't in the top 25. Doubt they win it all, but I don't see them getting eliminated fast.

Ill be paying more attention to D1 this, specifically Arizona, but just because my cousin plays for them now. I wish (D1) baseball was more prevalent here, because it is really hard to try and find a good game on TV.

Bart Scott since nebrasketball is hot garbage. Fightin Erstads should be B1G favs despite tough ass Maryland in there. Terms nearly KOed Wahoos last year.

Well, bummer. I was planning on going to the UNC-UCLA series in Chapel Hill this weekend, but it has since been moved to UCF. Thanks for the hospitality @Renegade.

blownout by Coastal Carolina today, 12-3.

This is either a young team scuffling in the early season, or its gonna be a long season.

I think its gonna be both.

State stomping a mud hole in Clemson today. Clemson's starter was the wildest i've ever seen a pitcher on the collegiate level. Hit 2 batters and had to have thrown 6 or 7 wild pitches in less than 2 innings of work. State looking to take the series, 2-1 today. Up 11-2 in the 4th last time i looked.

Been watching my cousins games at Arizona. He starts at first and has been struggling, but the rest of the team seems to be hitting well. Although when they play good teams, they cant seem to get it together (Rice and Miss St.). They start Pac 12 play this weekend hosting Utah. They're sitting at 15-4 overall with all four losses coming to previously mentioned Rice and Miss. St.

Been there and it's not fun. The mound is the loneliest place in all of sports.

I too have been there. Nobody can help you but you and sometimes you just can't find it. Release point, mechanics...you just feel the most uncomfortable you've ever felt and then you've gotta throw a little ball 60 feet and hit a hand sized mark. Yea...its tough

Zona picks up their second consecutive Pac-12 sweep against Oregon. Big time, and from what I saw, this is tied for the best start under Lopez.

Those fucking Turtles kicked our ass today in a doubleheader sweep. Not good knowing we piss pounded Texas last weekend.

Heels have a great opportunity these next two weekends to get some ACC wins, going to Virginia Tech and BC at home. At Notre Dame the following weekend will be tough but then we close out the regular season with a struggling Virginia team in Chapel Hill. Currently tied in the ACC Coastal with Georgia Tech, who has an equally favorable schedule to end the season (BC, Clemson, Pitt, and Miami).

Louisville has Wake (series win), Clemson (series win), Florida State (toss-up), and NC State (series win) left. Not sure anyone is catching them in the Atlantic with the Cards sitting at 12-2 and looking at a national seed.

Miami has Virginia (series win), FSU (toss-up), Pitt (series win), and Georgia Tech (series win).

Should be a fun final stretch.

Nebraska has gone in the tank. Now it's field is under water, and may have to play this weekend series versus Purdue somewhere else besides Haymarket Park.

gonna take this team to get hot as shit to make the tourney now.

fsu was on a nice run, blew a lead and lost the series @Lville, and went home and got swept by clemson...hopefully bounce back and have a nice tournament, leading clemson 3-0 in the bottom of the 7th now.

Unacceptable and embarrassing, really, with the amount of talent that we have. First time to miss out on the tournament since 2001.

Same here in Nebraska. That's shameful knowing back in April we smashed Texas and further back, took #1 LSU to the brink in Houston.

Still hitting up that CWS doe. Got tix to the opening weekend games and finals game one and two.

NC State hits a 2 run shot in the Top of the 9th with 2 outs to defeat TCU 5-4. The Pack is now 1 win away from a super regional. Gonna still be tough with all of the talented arms TCU has.
