State is not a great free throw shooting team, this type of absymal effort is not par for the course. Especially Warren, who nailed 2 with under a second left on the clock to tie Carolina a few weeks back. It's frustrating.

This goes right up there with the 2003 ACC Tournament Final against Duke and the 2004 11 point lead blown within 3 minutesi n the second round against Vandy. Except those teams were actually tournament quality teams throughout the season rather than just showing up for March, so it's not as bad in that regard.

I had no expectations for State going intot his tournament but clearly Saint Louis's only advantage was that they were a fuckton tougher than our team. Lewis went from Elven Immortal to dinky Samwise Hobbit shitbird in a matter of a half. All the post players that contributed yesterday faded when adversity hit. They can't answer the bell when someone blitzes them.

State way exceeded expectations this year but this is still tuff to swallow, and they should probably feel ashamed for the way they played for the last 5 minutes + OT. Gottfried definitely fucked up down the stretch. Warren gone. Fuck a duck.
