Got Jetpack and Kim back, and a few stop gap pitchers signed. Feeling pretty good about my team. I think I've added the bats, but my staff isn't as good as it was.


I'm lolololing at the $18m/year contract Yankee is giving Marrero. Why not just resign Infante?

Well if he uses him as a SP he might be worth it. Its essentially a one year deal and we all know there is no bad 1 year deal. I dont think Yankee needs another SP though.

Marrero isn't better than any of them. Unless Yankee is involved in some backroom trade situation involving one of his starting pitchers and will need to replace one of them.

Oh I agree. Herc and Sugarbear are as good a 1-2 as you will find in the NL on paper.

I think there are teams now with so much money that who cares about overpaying for a one or even two year deal. We're getting close to the UBL where teams just have tons of excess money and not much to do with it. If you look at the financials there are a few teams with just tons and tons of money.

Yeah in the sims nobody ever really got above 170 for too long, I'm testing to see how high the max is right now. We may all head down to a 3 market size soon

Not sure. He has a little room to grow/I'm still trying to get a SP via FA or trade. I might start him out mid-year as a LH specialist or bullpen guy and ease him in.

I'm fairly slow to promoting guys compared to others in the league. Although I rarely have guys to promote because I usually trade them all away before they can play.

Yeah, we are doing okay now after getting rid of the bad contracts. My owner still has us with one of the lowest budgets in the league tho, so it will always be a bit of a challenge.

I agree with both of you. Id probably choose the bottom yellow out of those two.

The top green isnt bad, but I like yellow/red more for Lisbon.

Yeah, thats what I said when he asked for green. Its tough for sure.

I like the top left because of the reference to SPC, which is kind of cool because they could be SPC Biesbol or whatever Portuguese is for baseball.

Bottom right is probably my fave though and we dont have a mostly gold logo.
